Sushant Singh Rajput’s family has bid final goodbye to the actor by immersing his ashes in the Ganges. Sushant ended his life by hanging himself to death on June 14. He was 34. Days after his shocking demise, his sister Shweta Singh, who reached Patna this morning, along with actor’s father and two other sisters immersed his ashes at his hometown Patna, this afternoon. 

This morning, taking to her Facebook account, his sister Shweta penned a heartfelt note and asked fans to give the actor a happy and loving farewell. She had written, “Reached my Patna’s home safely yesterday. Thanks to everyone who was praying and who helped in the process. It was hassle free Today we will be doing Asthi Visarjan (Ashes Immersion) for Bhai. I again want to ask all to pray for him and send him off with all the fond memories and unconditional love in your hearts. Let’s celebrate his life and give him a very loving and happy farewell. #Sushantsinghrajput”


Meanwhile, Police are investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. Cops have been interrogating people close to the actor like his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, his last film's director Mukesh Chhabra, his cook, the keysmith who opened his bedroom's locked door, 3 sisters, father, co-star and friend Mahesh Shetty among many others. A while back we reported, Mukesh Chhabra told police that the actor had recently messaged him, “I am not well.” He also revealed that the actor called him last on his birthday i.e., May 27.
